Challenges

Limited Budget

Operating multiple franchised locations comes with its own set of financial constraints. Each of his Great Clips franchises had a specific marketing budget which needed to be allocated judiciously. The challenge was to ensure that every dollar spent was optimized for maximum impact, bringing in new customers without overstretching the budget.

Coupon Efficacy

The idea of introducing a $2 off haircut coupon for new customers was promising. However, the challenge lay in effectively promoting this offer and tracking its success. With multiple franchises and numerous customers, ensuring that the coupon reached its intended audience and gauging its effectiveness was crucial.

Traditional Marketing

Methods like supermarket receipt tapes, coupon books, and local mailers had previously been go-to strategies. While these had their merits, they were not resonating with the younger, tech-savvy audience of the Bay area. In a tech hub like the Bay area, having a strong online presence is essential. The location's existing Yelp profile, while functional, was not standing out amidst the competition. The challenge was to revamp and elevate this profile, making it not only visually appealing but also effective in driving foot traffic to his franchises.

We gave the location's Yelp profile a complete makeover, introducing high-quality photos and a mobile-friendly design to ensure it resonated with tech-savvy users. This improved the visual appeal and enhanced user experience, encouraging more potential customers to explore the services offered.

The call to action on the Great Clips profile was transformed to be more compelling and direct, aligning it with his new promotional strategy. By making it clear and enticing with a focus on the $2 off coupon, we ensured that visitors were more likely to engage, leading to increased conversions.
